Rajah Muthiah Medical College & Hospital
Rajah Muthiah Medical College & Hospital started by a private trust in 1985 at Annamalainagar. The medical college is having a deemed status as per the UGC Act 1957.
The affiliated university is Annamalai University. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts an NEET Entrance Exam to select students into UG / PG courses.
Origin of College – Rajah Muthaiah Medical College was born due to the dream of Dr Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad to have a medical college under the umbrella of Annamalai University.
The dream was made true in 1985 by his illustrious son, Dr M A M Ramaswamy, the present Pro-Chancellor, who set up a medical college at Annamalainagar.
