Indian Students:
Candidates pursuing MBBS Degree or having provisional MBBS Pass certificate from Institutions recognized by Indian Medical Council (MCI).
Must have a certificate of MBBS qualification issued by MCI/NMC or State Medical Council.
Completed one year of internships on or before 31st March 2023.
Foreign Medical Graduates:
Candidates who had pursued an MBBS degree from colleges outside India must pass the FMGE Screening test.
Completed their internships before 31st March 2023 are eligible for NEET PG 2023 exam.
Foreign Students:
Foreign Students can apply for NEET PG 2023 without MCI registration.
After payment of NEET PG application fees, MCI/NMC can allow Foreign Students to write NEET-PG 2023 exams.

Directorate General of Health Services conducts counseling for All India 50% quota seats, Central government Institutions, & Deemed Universities.
State Counselling Authorities will conduct counseling for State quota seats, Private medical colleges & universities.
The scope of NEET PG 2023:
NEET PG 2023 exam is conducted for MD MS seats under:
All India 50% quota seats in all states except Jammu & Kashmir.
MD/MS/PG Diploma seats in all states and union territories of India including Jammu Kashmir.
All PG seats in Private medical colleges and Deemed Universities in India.
Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions PG Medical seats.
DNB Broad Speciality Courses for January 2023 academic session.
However, few Medical Institutions PG seats will not be under centralized counseling for MD MS Admission through NEET-PG 2023.
50% All India Quota MD MS Seats:
All India students can apply for 50% AIQ quota MD MS seats.
Candidates who completed their MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for 50% All India quota seats.
Only those candidates who are nominated by Govt. of India to study MBBS in Jammu & Kashmir through central quota seats are eligible for 50% ALL India quota seats.
Those students must submit a duly signed affidavit along with the NEET PG application form to participate in All India 50% quota seats.
Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) conducts counseling for 50% All India quota seats, central govt., & deemed universities medical colleges.
Directorate of State medical education of all states and union territories conducts counseling for state government and private colleges.
You must apply for MCC and State Medical Counseling for MD MS admission through the NEET-PG exam.

State PG medical counseling is conducted for 50% of seats in Govt. colleges and all seats in Private Colleges.
The cost of State PG counseling registration fee is Rs 1000 – Rs 5000 for each states and union territories.
You must also fulfill the domicile eligibility criteria to apply for state quota seats PG medical counseling.
You can only apply for Govt. PG Medical seats in state counseling, if You’re a Domicile student of that state.
Non Domicile students are generally not allowed to participate in state quota counseling in most of the states of India.
But Karnataka & few other states allows non-domicile students to apply for state quota counseling.
In such cases. If you are non-domicile students can only apply for MD MS seats in private medical colleges.

NEET PG rank card is declared on basis of Your overall position among all appearing students in NEET PG 2023.
All India 50% quota rank is valid only for 50% all India quota PG medical seats.

Medical authorities designated by State governments will conduct counseling for 50% of state quota seats.
Also for Medical colleges established by trust, society, company or Minority Institutions in that state.
Counseling for Seats under Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) Institutions will be conducted by MCC & DGHS, New Delhi.
You must select AFMS Institution’s options while applying for NEET PG exams and should have the eligibility criteria as mentioned by MCI.
