The College offers undergraduate course in Medicine ( MBBS ) with an intake of 150 students per year and Postgraduate Courses in 15 Disciplines. The institute is recognized by Medical Council of India, New Delhi in 2009 and is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The Medical complex is situated in an area of 33 acres in the beautiful scenario of Vilad Ghat, Ahmednagar. Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College offers 5.5 years Bachelor’s Degree Course in M.B.B.S., 3 years Postgraduate MD / MS course & 2 years University Postgraduate Diploma. Admission to the said courses is strictly as per Merit prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (NEET). The reservation of seats for SC / ST / OBC / VJ / NT1 / NT2 / NT3 will be as per Maharashtra State Government Notification.

Eligibility For MBBS
A candidate will be eligible for admission to Health Science Course( MBBS ) for the academic year on fulfillment of the following conditions:
- The candidate may be an Indian National / NRI / Foreign National. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his / her Nationality from a District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate.
- School Leaving Certificate of HSC / 12th Std. indicating the Nationality of the candidates Indian or Valid passport also shall be considered sufficient proof of Nationality.
- The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission for the course. The Secondary School Certificate (i.e. S.S.C.) or equivalent examination certificate or the certificates of age and nationality endorsing the date of birth will constitute valid proof (The eligibility of age shall be as prescribed by MCI, New Delhi from time to time.).
- The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness.
