The University has 3 major hospitals as AVBRH, SPDC and MGAC hospitals, total 1480 bedded fully equipped teaching hospitals with state of the art facilities. Around 410 clinicians and adequate nursing staff provide care of approximately over 10,000,00 patients annually with inflow of patients from many deprived villages over Vidarbha region. The AVBR hospital offers many schemes for the economically weaker sections of society. The hospital offers over 40 specialty treatments, it also has cardiac centre. This comprehensive tertiary care Hospital is developing into a Referral Centre of Central India.

Eligibility Criteria for Under Graduate
- Be an Indian National and should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of concern academic year.
- Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS/BDS course, who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSSC) examination/(10+2) or the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination or any other examination equivalent to (10+2) HSSC examination of any recognized Board/University, from any school/college situated in India after 12 years of study with a minimum of 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300 marks) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and passes English subject, and shall qualify the NEET Examination conducted by Govt. of India.
Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate
- The candidate should Be an Indian National and NRI candidates having passed from institutions recognised by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India are eligible to take the Entrance Exam for admission to the Post Graduate Courses in the Faculties of Medicine and Dental Sciences.
- Have obtained full registration either from Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India or from the State Medical/Dental Councils.
- Have completed the one-year compulsory rotatory internship from a recognised institution on or before 31st March of the year for which the admission is sought.
- The candidate shall qualify for the NEET Examination conducted by Govt. of India.
