    Eligibility for Institutional Quota (For Courses other than MBBS and BDS Course)Any eligible candidates on An India basis can be admitted, including non-resident Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), as well as Outside Maharashtra candidates (OMS) who had appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and were declared eligible for admission to undergraduate Ayurved, Unani, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics and B.Sc Nursing Courses, by inter-se-merit amongst candidates who apply for institutional quota seats. Respective institutes will fill these seats by calling applications at the individual institutions from all eligible candidates registered with the State CET cell.
    Domicile of CandidateThe Candidates must be Domicile of Maharashtra (Except candidates under clauses 4.1.3, 4.1.4, 4.7, 4.8, Annexures C and E). The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 2004 to be eligible for all Health Science Courses. The Birth certificate indicating the candidate’s name, Secondary School Certificate, i.e. SSC or equivalent examination certificate or School Leaving Certificate endorsing the date of birth, will constitute valid proof.
    MBBS/BDSA candidate from OPEN and EWS Category must have obtained not less than 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. A candidate belonging to the constitutional reservation and constitutional reservation with Person With Disability claim must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. A person with a disability candidate in the General category must secure not less than 45% marks (i.e. 135 out of 300) in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination or decided by respective Central Council.

    Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023

    A candidate can visit the official portal of the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra to get themselves registered for NEET 2023 Maharashtra State Counselling. Let’s speak about the counselling procedure for Maharashtra NEET 2023.

    Counselling Procedure 

    Before we speak the counseling procedure for Maharashtra NEET 2023, Let us first have a look at the Type of NEET Counselling 2023 for state and AIQ quota.

    • Registration Process: Applicants have to register online for the counselling process fill in all the required details in the form carefully.
    • Provisional Merit List: After successful completion of the registration process, a merit list will be prepared.
    • Document Verification Process: Shortlisted applicants will be able to proceed with the document verification process; you have to choose any one centre for document verification at the time of registration.
    • Choice Filling Process: Applicants can fill in their choices/preference through online mode.
    • Seat Allotment: Applicants will be selected based on merit, preferences filled by them and availability of seats.
    • Reporting Process: As per the seat allotment, you must report to the allotted college and carry their original documents and their photocopies to the allotted college on the prescribed date and timing.

    Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)

    Candidate applying for Medical/Dental Colleges in Maharashtra must have to register themselves for the NEET counselling 2023. Counselling of NEET 2023 for All India Quota will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. The counselling will consist of these steps.

    • Candidate Registration: Register to the official website.
    • Choice Filling and Locking (Round 1): You have to choose the courses and colleges of your preference and finally lock-in the preferences in the online portal.
    • Seat Allotment Result (Round 1): The seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices.
    • Reporting to college: Those who will be allotted a seat in the first round, will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
    • New Registration (Round 2): For candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of counseling.
    • Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
    • Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): Similar to round 1 mentioned above.
    • Reporting to college (Round 2): Here it is to be noted that, those who will be allotted a seat in the second round of counseling (15% AIQ Quota) will not be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders made by the Supreme court of India.

    How to Apply

    • Step I: Candidate must visit the official website
    • Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” Option.
    • Step 3 (Personal Information): After the successful registration and activating account, candidates need to fill his/her personal information. Make sure all the information are correct while filling the application form.
    • Step 4 (Upload Photo and Signature): After entering the personal information the candidate should upload his / her passport size photograph of high contrast (Photo must be snapped with placard containing candidate’s name and snapping date), and full signature in Hindi and English (Not in capital letter) after duly scanning the same. After uploading the photo and signature click on “Save & Continue” button.
    • Step 5 (Educational Information): After uploading the scanned photo and signature the candidate should enter his / her educational information on the computer screen and click on “Save & Continue” button.
    • Step 6 (Payment of Counselling Fee): After filling all the required details candidates need to proceed with payment of Counselling Fee. Counselling Fee will not be refunded.
      There are following two modes for payment of Counselling Fee:
      a. Payment by Bank Challan: If the candidate wants to Pay Counselling Fee through Bank Challan, he/she should select offline / NEFT Challan option from Payment mode appearing on a computer screen and download the Challan and get the print and
      visiting any Bank up to scheduled last date, the Counselling Fee may be paid through NEFT mode.
      b. Online Payment: If the candidate wants to pay Counselling Fee through Online mode e.g. Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking, he/she should select an online option from payment mode appearing on the computer screen and “Make the Payment”
      should be made through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking. The candidate has to pay processing charge additional to Counselling Fee for payment through online mode.

    Selection Procedure

    • The Exam conducting authority will make the merit list of the selected candidates for the admission after the NEET State counseling.
    • Admission Seekers will be selected on the basis of their rank obtained and choice filled during counseling.
    • Admission Seekers will have to report to the allotted college for admission along with all required documents.
    • If any student fails to report to the allotted college in any circumstances within the given time, the seat of this candidate will be forfeited.
