    The Admission Seekers applying for NEET PG are advised to check these necessary Instruction Related to NEET PG 2023 Cutoff.

    • The NEET 2023 Cutoff will be based on various parameters like numbers of appearing candidates, total numbers of seats, the difficulty level of the examination, and last year admission record.
    • The Cutoff marks will be announced to only those candidates who qualify for the NEET PG 2022 examination.
    • The Admission Seekers who will secure the highest mark will get the top rank, whereas, the candidates with low marks will be allotted the most down position.
    • The Selection Board of NTA (National Testing Agency) will not announce the Minimum Cutoff Marks for a specified Branch or College.
    • Test-taking Agency will announce the opening/first rank and closing/last rank for different Medical Colleges.
    • The closing/last rank for a particular college will be based on the total number of seats in a college with the total number of candidates appearing in NEET PG 2023 Counselling.
    • Admission Seekers are advised to fill their preferences in counselling according to their merit in the entrance examination.

    Tie-breaker Condition

    In the case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the NEET PG 2022 merit list, the conducting authority will use the tie-breaking procedure specified below.

    • Candidates with a lesser number of wrong answers in all Part A+B+C will be placed in a better position in NEET PG rank list.
    • Candidates with higher marks in Part C will be considered a better rank.
    • The lesser number of incorrect responses in Part C will be awarded the higher rank.
    • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Part B of the exam will be considered first.
    • Medical graduates with lesser number of Part B answers will be allotted better rank.
    • The number of higher marks in Part A of a candidate will be eligible to be ranked at a higher position.
    • Lesser number of negative responses in Part A by an aspirant will lead him/her to a better merit position.
    • Lastly, the candidate’s age will be considered, and the elder will be awarded a higher rank.
