Uttar Pradesh NEET 2023 Counselling

1- (A) Registration →Pay Registration Fee→Download Registration Slip→ Go to Verification Center
(B) Registration→Pay Registration Fee→ If slip does not generate, then wait for payment updation. When payment is updated, then the slip will generate →Go to Verification Center.

  1. Go to the verification centre and verify your academic documents and other relevant documents like reservation certificates etc.
  2. Submit your CTS Bank DD at nodal verification centre, write your name, address, roll no. & mobile no. on the back of DD etc.
  3. After document verification, fill in the choices and lock the alternatives; if you do not seal the options, you will not be considered for the seat allocation process.
  4. After allotment in Government Medical/Dental College, go to allotted College for admission.
  5. After allotment in Pvt, Medical/Dental College go to the nodal centre for admission.
  6. The name of the nodal admission centre will be displayed on the allotment letter.

Counselling Procedure

Before we speak about the counselling procedure for Uttar Pradesh NEET 2023, Let us first have a look at the Type of NEET Counselling 2023 for state and AIQ quota.

Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2023 Procedure

Candidates can visit the official portal of the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP, to get themselves registered for NEET 2023 Uttar Pradesh State Counselling. Below we have mentioned step by step process of counselling. 

Step 1- Online Registration

  • Candidates can apply online by visiting the website https://upneet.gov.in.
  • For registration, the candidates will use their NEET-UG roll no. and email I.D. (used in AI-NEET-UG registration) and follow the instructions on the screen.
  • After that, the candidate’s AI-NEET-UG registration details will be displayed.
  • The candidate will make an online (Netbanking/ Credit/ Debit Card) payment of 2,000/ rupees. SMS will be sent to their registered mobile no (used for AI-NEET UG registration) to confirm successful registration.
  • The password you create at the time of registration, kindly note this password for choice filling.
  • After a successful payment candidate will get a Transaction number and registration number on their registered mobile number.

Step 2: Online Security Money Payment

  • Those aspirants are eligible for choice filling who will build a successful online payment of Rs. 30,000/- for Government seats & Rs. 2,00,000/- for Private seats as security money.
  • After paying for security money and the state merit list has been announced, the online seat choice filling will be available per the earlier schedule.
  • Candidates would be able to take a printout of their online payment receipt.

Step 3: Merit Declaration

  • State merit, the list reference shall be AI-NEET-UG 2023 ranking.
  • The final merit list will be published on the website.

Step-4: Online choice filling

  • Visit the official website and click on the choice filling.
  • After login, the choice filling can be done in several sessions but remember to save and continue; otherwise, you lose your work.
  • The choice filling will not be complete until you finally submit and Lock.
  • After choice filling, seat allotment results will be displayed online.

Step-5: Seat Allotment

  • Login to the website. Your seat allotment will be displayed.

How to Apply

  • Step I: Candidate must visit the official website
  • Step 2: After opening the official website of MCC and click on ‘New Registration’
  • Step 3: The dashboard page of MBBS admissions will open in a new tab, and the candidates must click on ‘Sign Up’. Enter the ‘Registered Mobile Number, E-Mail and other details to create a login account on the official website. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to complete pre-registration and a login account will be created.
  • Step 4: Log on to the MCC website and click on ‘Candidate login’
  • Step 5: Enter your Roll Number and Password.
  • Step 6: You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to enter details like Name, Roll No., Registration No., Mother’s Name, Contact No., etc. When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
  • Step 7:  You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to enter details like Name, Roll No,  When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
  • Step 8: After this, you will be shown all your details as per the NTA database. Verify the information and click on ‘Confirm Registration’. A Registration Slip will be generated. Candidates are advised to save this page.
  • Step 9: After successful registration, candidates are asked to submit a refundable and non-refundable NEET 2021 counselling fee. For the UR Category fee is Rs. 1000 and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD fee is Rs. 500.
  • Step 10:Choice Locking facility is available for a specific time period 
  • Step 11: Release of Seat Allotment Result It is released in the form of a list followed by the issue of seat allotment letter to the selected candidates. Candidates must report to the allotted colleges with the allotment letter and other documents to finish the admission process.

  • 12th Mark Sheet.
  • NEET UG 2023 Admit Card.
  • NEET UG 2023 Result/Scorecard.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile Certificate (for Uttar Pradesh candidate only).
  • Certificate of Sub Category, If Applicable.
  • ID Proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter card etc.)

Security Money

The candidates will have to pay the security money through a demand draft in favour of Director General, Medical Education & Training, UP. The Demand Draft will be payable at the nodal office in Lucknow. The security money will be returned to the candidates after the completion of the admission procedure in Medical College. The Security money will be paid at the time of the Document Verification. Below we have mentioned the College wise Security Money for MBBS Admission:

  • Rs. 2,00,000/- (Security Money Private medical colleges)
  • Rs. 1,00,000/- (Security Money Private Dental colleges)

UP NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria

  • The applying seekers should have qualified the NEET Entrance Examination.
  • Aspirants must have the domicile of Uttar Pradesh
  • The applying seekers must have completed the 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from the recognized educational institution.
  • The applying seekers must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology and English are the compulsory subjects with minimum 50% marks, 40% marks are required for SC/ST category candidates and 45% marks are for Physically Handicap candidates.

Selection Procedure

  • The Exam conducting authority will make the merit list of the selected candidates for the admission after the NEET State counseling.
  • Admission Seekers will be selected based on their rank obtained and choice filled during counseling.
  • Admission Seekers will have to report to the allotted college for admission along with all required documents.
  • If any student fails to report to the allotted college in any circumstances within the given time, the seat of this candidate will be forfeited.

Seat Allotment Process

The Uttar Pradesh NEET Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The seat allotment and mop-up round process will be done separately for each round. the Seat allotment will be completely based on the merit rank and choices entered by candidates.

The Uttar Pradesh MBBS and BDS 2023 seat allotment result for Round I counselling will be held on. The Result of seat allotment would be published online on the official website of the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP.

Applying seekers who have been allotted seats in Round I will also be able to opt for up-gradation in Second Round. And in case the candidate gets an upgraded seat in seconds Round, the seat allotted in first Round will stand cancelled.
