Key Points for Candidates

  • Grievances are only for new candidates. Newly registered candidates can raise corrections until 8:00 PM on November 4, and they must attach proof. No change is accepted without documents.
  • An all-India quota allotment means exclusion. Candidates allotted a seat in the all-India quota special round are weeded out, even if they have filled preferences.
  • Fresh choices every round. Choices from earlier stray vacancy rounds are cancelled, so candidates must fill fresh preferences for each round.
  • Joining is compulsory. Candidates who don’t join the seat allotted in the Special Stray Vacancy Round face a penalty and disqualification under the information brochure.

Who Is Eligible?

  1. NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates who registered but were not allotted a seat in any CAP round of Group A.
  2. Candidates who are eligible under Clause 4 of the information brochure.

Who Is Not Eligible?

  1. Candidates who have joined an MBBS or BDS (Group A) seat up to October 26, 2026.
  2. Candidates who joined, and who were allotted a seat, in the all-India quota stray vacancy rounds, including the special round.
  3. Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 3 or later stray rounds but didn’t join.
