Overview

Geetanjali Medical College is a private medical college located in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The batches up to 2011 are affiliated to the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences which conducts the examinations. Batches 2012 and onwards are affiliated with the Geetanjali University, which was established in 2011.

The college offers several courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, paramedical diploma and courses at Research level to the aspiring students who want to pursue their career in the field of Medical Science.

Admission in MBBS and BDS is done through NEET UG, and for MD and MS eligible candidates will have to appear in NEET PG. For admission in other courses, candidates are selected based on marks scored in the last qualifying examination.

MBBS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission. He must have passed 10+2 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together be 40% instead of 50%. The admission will be based on merit of the entrance examination.

MD /MS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Geetanjali Medical College: All candidates seeking admission to M.D./M.S. Courses must have completed satisfactorily one year’s compulsory rotating internship after passing the final M.B.B.S. Examination from the recognized University and must have registration with the Rajasthan Medical Council or any other state medical council on or before the initial date of selection. The candidate must have secured 50% marks (40% incase of natural born SC/ST, OBC/SBC & 45% for PH category candidate) in Pre- P.G. Medical Entrance Examination of respective session.
