NOTE: The candidate seeking admission against a particular category/ quota seat must meet additional eligibility criteria. Each respective category/quota has its own set of criteria. This includes All India Quota. It also includes seats for candidates nominated by the Government of Gujarat. Another category is seats for wards of Indian Coast Guard personnel posted at Daman. There are also seats for wards of veterans and defence personnel. Additionally, there are seats for wards of Employees (regular/ on deputation/ on transfer). These are employees of the UT Administration posted in Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu. This applies as the case may be continued for five years. Finally, it includes seats for candidates of UT of DNH & DD.
Daman & Diu NEET UG Counselling 2024
This section provides detailed information about Daman & Diu MBBS/BDS Counselling 2024 Application Procedure. Candidates must check the complete procedure before applying for the form.
Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS Course during the academic year 2024-25 must apply in the prescribed form. They should submit their applications online. The form will be available on the website of the department/college. Candidates must upload the necessary documents on or before the last date specified for receiving applications. Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical verification of original certificates. This is based on eligibility criteria and marks obtained in NEET, on prescribed dates.
- Applicant must upload self-attested copies of the following documents as per applicability.
a. Statement of marks of SSC.
b. Passing certificate specifying the Date of Birth.
c. Statement of marks of HSCE.
d. School Leaving Certificate of the last school attended.
e. Statement of NEET mark sheet.
f. If the candidate is claiming seats reserved for UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman, and Diu, they must produce the following:
- Domicile Certificate of Parents/Guardians (in case father and mother are not alive). It must be issued by the competent authority of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. It may also be issued by the competent authority of Daman and Diu, as the case may be.
- Certificate showing that the applicant has continuously studied from Class 9th to 12th. The attendance must be in any recognized school located in the territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. It must be in Daman and Diu. It must be issued by the Principal/Head Master of the respective school.
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC in prescribed format from the competent authority of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. It can also be from the competent authority of Daman and Diu, as the case may be.
- In the case of the applicant belonging to OBC, a non-Creamy Layer certificate will be issued by the competent authority. Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu will handle this. This will be soon in 2024.
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate issued by the competent authority will be available soon in 2024. This applies to Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, as the case may be. This is for candidates applying under the EWS category.
- The dependent Certificate was issued by the competent authority of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. This applies in the case of those claiming guardianship of the applicant.
- Disability Certificate from the Disability Assessment Board of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Provide this certificate in case of differently-abled candidates.
Other Conditions
- The SC/ST/OBC/EWS or any caste-related certificate should be obtained from the competent authority of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. It should also be obtained from Daman & Diu. The applicant’s caste certificate shall be in the prescribed format. It shall be as per the relevant notification issued by the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. It should follow the relevant notification issued by Daman & Diu.
- Any changes in admission criteria by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, or National Medical Commission, will adhere to the applicant’s admission criteria. This also applies to any changes by the affiliating University. The applicant’s admission will be confirmed only after enrollment acceptance by the affiliating University.
How to Apply Daman & Diu NEET UG Counselling 2024
- Step I: The candidate must visit the official website.
- Step 2: After opening MCC’s official website and clicking on ‘New Registration,’
- Step 3: The dashboard page of MBBS admissions will open in a new tab. The candidates must click ‘Sign Up.’ Enter the ‘Registered Mobile Number, E-Mail and other details to create a login account on the official website. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to complete pre-registration and a login account will be created.
- Step 4: Log on to the MCC website and click ‘Candidate login.’
- Step 5: Enter your Roll Number and Password.
- Step 6: You will be redirected to a new page. You must enter details like name, roll Number, registration Number, mother’s name, contact Number, etc. When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
- Step 7: You will be redirected to a new page. You have to enter details like Name and Roll No. When you’re done, click on ‘Submit’.
- Step 8: After this, you will be shown all your details per the NTA database. Verify the information and click on ‘Confirm Registration. A Registration Slip will be generated. Candidates are advised to save this page.
- Step 9: After successful registration, candidates are asked to submit a refundable and non-refundable NEET 2024 counselling fee. The UR Category fee is Rs. 1000, and for SC/ST/OBC/PWD fee is Rs. 500.
- Step 10: Choice Locking facility is available for a specific time
- Step 11: Release of Seat Allotment Result. It is released in the form of a list. The list is followed by a seat allotment letter to the selected candidates. Candidates must report to the allotted colleges with the allotment letter and other documents to finish the admission process.

Selection Procedure
This section provides the Daman & Diu NEET Counselling 2024 Selection Procedure for admission in MBBS/BDS courses. Let’s have a look.
- All the applications will be considered in the Unreserved Category in the first instance. Applicants who fail to gain admission in the Unreserved Category will be placed in the relevant reserved category. These include SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Wards of Indian Coast Guard Personnel posted at Daman, and Ex-Servicemen. This will be according to the category for which they have applied. However, the application of candidates who have availed of any benefits available under any reserved quota will be considered under the respective quota only. The application of such candidates will be considered only under the respective quota. This does not include the application fee.
