IOM PG Entrance Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates must have passed MBBS from recognised medical college/University along with 1-year internship.
- IOM ENTRANCE EXAM 2023 – PROCEDURE OF ONLINE APPLICATION:

After submission of online application form through MECEE official website. Candidates must pay prescribed application fees by depositing in their respective bank account.

- Due to admission being provided through MECEE-PG exam therefore, application form will be available online at the official website of MECEE-PG. No offline mode of application will be accepted by the conducting authority.

IOM PG Exam Pattern 2023
The exam pattern will be the same for Nepalese as well as international students. There will be multiple choice types questions (MCQs) to ask. The duration of the examination will be Two hours. Total marks of examination will be 100. Make sure there will not be any negative marking system for incorrect answers. (*Candidate must verify this in the examination hall and at official notification).
Medical Education Commission Entrance Examination is a single common examination conducted by the Nepal Medical education Board for providing MD MS admission in various medical universities/colleges of Nepal. MECEE is just like NEET PG in India. Likewise India, Nepal also provide admission in postgraduate courses through a common entrance examination.
MECEE examination is held once in a year. The question paper of MECEE consists of 300 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the examination is three hours. It is conducted online. Examination marks are considered for providing seats across medical institutes of Nepal.
How To Download IOM PG Admit Card?
After the successful registration for examination, students can download their admit card from the official website of MECEE-PG examination. The students have to enter the necessary details to get admit cards. Admit cards are mandatory documents to be carried at examination halls. No offline mode will be entertained by the concerned authority.
The admit card contains details such as the Candidate’s name, roll number, center address, date of Birth, guidelines, etc.
No online admit card will be issued to international students. Candidates may get admit card or hall ticket from the Department of Information Technology, IOM Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.
Applicants need to show the following documents while receiving the admit card-
- Original ID proof
- Two passport-sized photograph
- Bank voucher (fee deposit receipt)
