Maharashtra NEET Cutoff 2024 Important Instructions

- The NEET Cutoff 2024 will be based on various parameters like the number of appearing candidates, the number of seats, the difficulty level of the examination, and last year’s admission record.

Maharashtra NEET 2024 cutoffs
Under Maharashtra MBBS/BDS admissions, two quotas are applicable – 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for conducting admissions and releasing the NEET Cut-off 2024 Maharashtra for the 15% AIQ seats. Maharashtra NEET 2024 cutoff – 15% AIQ quota
As mentioned earlier, MCC will release the NEET cutoff Maharashtra 2024 for 15% AIQ seats. Following each round of counselling and seat allocation, the NEET 2024 Maharashtra cutoff will be published. The NEET cutoff Maharashtra will include the candidate’s All India Rank, NEET score, and the last rank at which admission is granted. Each category, namely SC, ST, OBC, UR, PH, and EWS, will have a distinct NEET cutoff in Maharashtra for the year 2024.
Maharashtra NEET 2024 cutoff – 85% state quota
Under the state quota, DMER will declare Maharashtra’s NEET cutoff for 85% of the seats. The NEET 2024 cutoff Maharashtra represents the last rank at which admission will be granted for a particular course, college, and admission category. There are a total of 10,145 MBBS seats and 3,526 BDS seats available. In the past, 70% of these seats were allocated under regional quotas, while the remaining 30% were allocated under state quotas. However, starting from the 2024 session, regional and state quotas have been eliminated.
The NEET cutoff 2024 for Maharashtra will encompass the last ranks for various categories as per constitutional reservation. These categories consist of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Caste converts to Buddhism (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Vimukta Jati, Nomadic Tribes (NT -1/2/3), Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections.
