Mahatma Gandhi Mission Trust is that the parent body of MGMIHS that was established in 1982 by Hon. Shri Kamalkishore Kadam with a futurist vision to supply qualitative education by applying innovative and dynamic pedagogic techniques. Since beginning, the Trust has targeted on providing Health Care Services, college Education and better Education with dedication and commitment. The MGM (Mahatma Gandhi Mission) Trust was established in Nanded, Maharashtra and within the course of your time it extended its services to Aurangabad, Navi Mumbai and Parbhani in Maharashtra and Noida [New Delhi] in state.A chain of faculties, Engineering, design, Medical, Nursing, Management, applied science & IT, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, Fine Arts and Journalism stand testimony to the endeavours of the Trust
The MGM Deemed University has been notified – Deemed to be University i.e. “MGM Institute of Health Sciences” Notification No. F.9-21/2005-U.3 (A) dated 30.08.2006 issued by the govt. of Republic of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of upper Education, New Delhi.
Two of its Medical faculties at Aurangabad and Navi Mumbai were accorded the standing of Deemed to be University and Mahatma Gandhi Mission Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS) started formally functioning in 2006.
Vision
MGM Institute of Health Sciences (Mahatma Gandhi Mission) aims to be a commanding center of Excellence in Health Science Education, Health Care, and Health analysis.
Mission
Students graduating from the Institute can have the desired skills to deliver quality health care to any or all the sections of the society pityingly and benevolence, while not prejudice or discrimination at a reasonable price.
As an enquiry Centre, it shall specialise in finding higher, safer and cheap ways that of diagnosis, treating and preventing diseases. In doing thus, it’ll maintain the best moral standards.
MGM Medical College Maharashtra
MGM Institute of Health Sciences was presented Deemed to be University standing beneath Section three of UGC Act 1956 by Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Govt. of India on thirtieth of August, 2006 to the establishments particularly MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai and MGM Medical College, Aurangabad that were established within the year 1989 and 1990 severally. The collegian course (MBBS), Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma) and Super Speciality Courses (DM & MCh) of those faculties are recognized by the Medical Council of Republic of India from time to time.
As per the norms of UGC, MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai (Mahatma Gandhi Mission) is registered beneath Society beneath Societies Registration Act, 1860 similarly as beneath metropolis Public public trust Act with its identification number – Maharashtra-177/06 (Society Registration Act.) and identification number – F-5466 (Raigad) beneath BPT Act.
