MAT Counselling 2024: Date, Registration, Selection Procedure

MAT Counselling 2024 will be organized individually by each participating college, not through a centralized process. AIMA conducts the MAT exam, and the results are accepted by approximately 650 management institutes across India. In this article, we have mention counselling and selection process of MAT 2024 for all India B-Schools and Institutes and important Dates, Documents etc

MAT 2024 Counselling is expected to begin in the last week of January 2025. It will include 2-3 rounds of Group Discussions, Personal Interviews, and/or Written Ability Tests. Since AIMA does not conduct centralized counselling, each participating B-school sets its own cutoff and admission process. Over 600 institutes take part in the MAT Counselling process.

MAT Counselling 2024 Overview Check the Important Details

MAT 2024 counselling begins after the declaration of MAT 2024 results. Please refer to the points below for MAT counselling details:

MAT Score Card	All participating institutes, colleges, and B-schools accept MAT scores for admission to their programs. If you clear the MAT 2024 cutoff, you will be eligible for the counselling process.
MAT Percentile	Each participating institute, college, and B-school has its own admission process and MAT percentile requirements. You can secure admission to the institute of your choice, provided your MAT 2024 score meets the cutoff set by that specific institute.
MAT Ranking	MAT counselling procedures vary for each institute and are conducted on different dates. It’s important to check your MAT ranking before participating in the counselling process. During the application, ensure you select your preferred course and up to five institutes for admission.
MAT Counselling Date	MAT counselling dates are announced after the MAT results are declared and can be found on the official portal. Follow the counselling dates of the institutes you selected and whose cutoff you’ve cleared. There is no centralized counselling for MAT 2024. Institutes will notify you via email if you meet their MAT cutoff requirements. The counselling dates are decided by each institute individually.

MAT 2024 Counselling Procedure

MAT Counselling is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) for the aspirants who are looking for admission in PG (MBA) courses offered by various affiliated Colleges or Institutes of the University.

Some Facts for Counselling:

1. Candidates must note that AIMA does not hold a Centralised MAT 2024 Counselling process.
2. MAT 2024 Counselling will be conducted by each participating management institutes individually.
3. MAT Selection Procedure begins after the announcement of MAT 2024 Results.

MAT Selection Procedure

The MAT 2024 Counselling/Selection Procedure differs from institute to institute.While some have a provision for offline mode, the other only allow online registrations. Here we mentioned the selection procedure of participating in MAT Counselling 2024:

• Make a list of Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2024 Counselling Participating Institutes in which you want to take admission.
• Apply to the Business School/Management Institute by sending your MAT scorecard.
• Merit list will be released by that institute & you will be informed by authorities through E-Mail or Call Letter.
• Keep visiting the official website of the Institute for the latest updates on Admission and Merit List.

How to participate in MAT 2024 Selection Rounds?

Please refer to the steps mentioned below to know how to participate in different rounds of MAT 2024 selection process:

• First, you need to register on the official website of the All India Management Association (AIMA) so that you can send your MAT 2024 scores to five different institutes. The institutes are the one that you select when you fill up MAT 2024 application form.
• You can apply online by going to the official portal of the institute that you selected. Once MAT 2024 results are declared, you can send your MAT scorecard to the participating institute of your choice.
• If you are selected then you will get a call or an email on your registered phone number/e-mail.
• MAT 2024 is not the final examination for admission as the institutes will have their own admission rounds. You will have to take part in Group Discussion(GD)/Written Ability Test(WAT)/Personal Interview(PI) round to secure a seat.
• Once you clear all rounds, you will be selected for admission.
