Punjab NEET Counselling Eligibility Criteria
- The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG- 2024 and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/ corrigendum(s) and as well as Punjab Govt. Personnel Department letter dated 06.06.1996.
- Merely applying for admission to MBBS/BDS courses based on NEET-UG-2024 will not entitle the Candidates to eligibility. The Admission Committee will determine a candidate’s merit for admission strictly per rules and regulations laid down by the Punjab Govt. Notification(s) as published in this prospectus and other documents are required with the ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM.
- The Admission Committee shall conduct counselling/Admissions constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.
- Age: As specified in NEET-UG 2024.

Punjab MBBS Counselling Fees

- The admission Application Fee of Rs. 5900 (Rs.2950 for SC candidates), including GST @18%, will be deposited only through the online payment gateway.
- The admission Application Fee will not be accepted in any form after the due date/time.
- Only those Admission Application Forms will be considered for counselling, the fee for which has been deposited by the due date/time.
- No request for accepting the Admission Application Forms after the due date/time will be entertained.
- Mere deposition of the fee will not entitle the candidate to claim admission.
- Fee once deposited in University Account will not be refunded/adjusted in any case.
Punjab NEET UG Counselling Procedure 2024
Candidates can visit the official portal of the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, to get themselves registered for NEET 2024 Punjab State Counselling. Below we have mentioned the step-by-step process of counselling.
- Registration: Candidates who qualify for NEET UG 2024 must first register online on the official BFUHS website to participate in the Punjab NEET UG counselling.
- Application Form: After registration, candidates must fill out the application form, providing their personal, academic, and NEET UG details.
- Document Upload: Candidates need to upload scanned copies of required documents, such as their NEET UG scorecard, educational certificates, and identity proof.
- Choice Filling: Once the documents are uploaded, candidates can select and prioritize their preferred colleges and courses from the available options.
- Seat Allotment: BFUHS will conduct the seat allotment process based on the candidates’ NEET UG scores, preferences, and the availability of seats. The results of seat allotment will be published online.
- Provisional Allotment Letter: After the seat allotment, candidates must download their provisional allotment letter from the official website.
- Reporting to the College: Candidates who receive a seat must report to the allotted college within the specified timeframe. They need to carry their provisional allotment letter and original documents for verification.
- Fee Payment: After the document verification, candidates must pay the required admission fee to confirm their seat.
- Subsequent Rounds: If seats remain vacant after the first round, BFUHS will conduct subsequent rounds of counselling, including a mop-up round, following the same procedure. Candidates who did not get a seat in earlier rounds can participate in these rounds.

How to Apply Punjab Medical Colleges for MBBS Course
- Step 1: The candidate must visit the official website.
- Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” Option.
- Step 3 (Personal Information): After the successful registration and activating account, candidates need to fill his/her personal information. Make sure all the information is correct while filling out the application form.
- Step 4: (Upload Photo and Signature): After entering the personal information, the candidate should upload his / her passport-size photograph of high contrast (The photo must be snapped with a placard containing the candidate’s name and snapping date) and full signature in Hindi and English (Not in capital letter) after duly scanning the same. After uploading the photo and signature, click the “Save & Continue” button.
- Step 5: (Educational Information): After uploading the scanned photo and signature, the candidate should enter his / her educational information on the computer screen and click the “Save & Continue” button.
- Step 6: (Payment of Counselling Fee): After filling in all the required details, candidates need to proceed with payment of the Counselling Fee. The counselling Fee will not be refunded.
There are the following two modes for payment of the Counselling Fee:
a. Payment by Bank Challan: If the candidate wants to Pay the Counselling Fee through Bank Challan, he/she should select the offline / NEFT Challan option from Payment mode appearing on a computer screen and download the Challan and get the print and
visiting any Bank up to the scheduled last date, the Counselling Fee may be paid through NEFT mode.
b. Online Payment: If the candidate wants to pay the Counselling Fee through Online mode, e.g. Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking, he/she should select an online option from the payment mode appearing on the computer screen and “Make the Payment.”
