New Upcoming Medical Colleges In India 2024: The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has released a list of 113 new medical colleges set to commence the MBBS program for the academic year 2024-25. The commission has communicated this decision to the medical colleges via email. Additionally, the list of new medical colleges for 2024 has been published on the NMC’s official website, nmc.org.in.
The demand for medical seats, especially for MBBS, is rising, leading to the establishment of numerous new medical colleges in India. NEET is the only medical entrance exam in India, through which MBBS seats are allocated. Approximately 24 lakh students registered for NEET 2024, but only around 1.07 lakh MBBS seats are available.
