Assam MBBS/BDS Round 3 Counselling 2026 Schedule has been released. Candidates can check the registration, choice filling, allotment, and reporting dates as per the official schedule.

The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam has released the schedule for the 3rd round online counselling for admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses in the Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for the session 2026.

About the Counselling

The 3rd round online counselling will be conducted for admission into vacant MBBS/BDS seats under State Quota in Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam. Candidates who have qualified NEET-UG 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses) Rules 2017 (Amended up to 2026), along with meeting the NEET-UG 2026 cut-off score, are eligible to participate.

Important: Candidates who already registered and participated in Round 1 and Round 2 state counselling need not register again and can directly take part in the online choice-filling for the 3rd round, for fresh allotment or change of college.

Important Note for Candidates

Candidates who have already joined or are holding seats after Round 3 of counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the session 2026 shall not be eligible to participate in this counselling and will be weeded out.
