About Directorate General of Medical Education and Training UP

DGME UP Functions and Duties
Medical, dental, and paramedical colleges have been created in Uttar Pradesh to provide a comprehensive medical education. The following are the functions and responsibilities of the Director-General of Medical Education:
- The DGME’s primary responsibilities include running and strengthening Medical and Dental Colleges and other medical/paramedical diplomas, degrees, postgraduate, and super speciality programmes in Uttar Pradesh.
