Supreme Court Directed Supernumerary Seat
In compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s order in Civil Appeal No. 2026 (arising out of SLP (C) No. 18686 of 2023 — Secretary NMC vs. Sanjna Thakur), the National Medical Commission (NMC) has created a supernumerary MBBS seat at Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba. This seat has been allotted to Ms. Sanjna Thakur, D/o Sh. Gopal Singh, in accordance with the Court’s directions.

Key Instructions for Candidates

- In case of any discrepancy, outdated/invalid certificate, or non-submission of the prescribed document, the candidate will not be entitled to claim benefit of the respective category/quota.
- Provisional allotment of a seat does not confer any right of admission — final eligibility/category claims are subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.
- Candidates must approach their allotted college/institute only after downloading the Provisional Allotment Letter from their candidate login. Admission will not be considered without seat allocation confirmed by AMRU.
