Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Special Category List Released—Check Your Eligibility for Defence, NCC, CAPF & Sports Quotas

Candidates listed under each category have been marked either “Eligible” or “Not Eligible” based on KEA’s verification, and NCC candidates additionally carry a preference number assigned to their application.

Category-Wise Details – Who’s on the List?

KEA has released separate lists for each special category. Here’s a breakdown of what each list contains:

• Ex-Defence Quota

The Ex-Defence candidate list includes candidates who have applied under the Ex-Defence quota. Notable names include Pritam M Angadi, Gouri Pawar, and Pratiksha Badaraddi, all of whom have been marked eligible under this quota.

• Defense Quota

The Defence candidate list covers serving defence personnel wards. Candidates such as Suchi Kumari, Samarth Shankreppa Badiger, and Samrudhi Sanjay Sambrekar have all been marked eligible under the Defence quota.

• CAPF & Ex-CAPF (BSF)

This list includes both serving BSF personnel and Ex-BSF candidates. Candidates such as Sahana S, K M Nawaz Ahmed, and Prerith T S have all been marked eligible.

• CAPF & Ex-CAPF (CRPF)

Similarly, the CRPF list includes both serving CRPF personnel and Ex-CRPF candidates. Yathiksha K Malagavi, Khushi K, and Alisha are among those marked eligible.

• NCC Quota

The NCC candidate list includes candidates such as Thanushree S, Saurav Kumar, and Rahaman Mohammed Ghouse. Each NCC candidate carries an assigned preference number (7 or 8) for the NCC quota.

• Sports Quota

The Sports candidate list includes candidates such as Mariyam Fatima Alam, Madiha, and Rishitha Ramesh. Notably, all three have been marked “Not Eligible” under the Sports category in this list.

⚠️ Important: The status of “Not Eligible” does not necessarily mean disqualification from the entire counselling process. Candidates marked “Not Eligible” are advised to contact KEA for clarification.

What This List Means for Candidates

The special category list serves as the eligibility filter for reserved quota seats. Here’s what each status means:
