KEAM 2026 MBBS/BDS Allotment: Online Options Open; Check Schedule & Fees

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala, has announced the first phase allotment. It is for MBBS and BDS courses for the 2026-27 academic year. This phase does not include NRI quota seats. Candidates featured in the State Medical Rank List can now register their preferred courses and colleges through the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in.

Colleges Covered in This Phase

This phase of allotment covers Government and Self-Financing Medical Colleges (Annexure I) and Dental Colleges (Annexure II). Allotment to NRI quota seats will begin only from Round 2.

Government Medical College, Palakkad and Government Medical College, Kollam follow separate reservation patterns as per specific government orders.

Fee Structure

Government Colleges: MBBS fee is Rs. 23,150, and BDS fee is Rs. 20,840.

Self-Financing Medical Colleges: General category fees range approximately between Rs. 8.1 lakh and Rs. 9.3 lakh, while NRI quota fees range between roughly Rs. 21.65 lakh and Rs. 22.74 lakh, varying by college.

Self-Financing Dental Colleges: General category fee is Rs. 3,47,487 and NRI fee is Rs. 6,30,000, except at Pushpagiri College of Dental Science, Thiruvalla, where the fee is Rs. 3,67,502 (General) and Rs. 6,66,288 (NRI).

Fees for self-financing colleges for 2026-27 are provisional and subject to final orders from the government, Fee Regulatory Committee, or courts.

Option Registration Fee

Candidates must remit a registration fee of Rs. 5,000 to register options. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC category and specified government order beneficiaries need to pay Rs. 500 only. The fee will be:

  • Carried over to the tuition fee for candidates allotted government colleges
  • Refunded if no allotment is received
  • Refunded after the admission closing date for candidates allotted self-financing colleges, provided they take admission

Candidates who do not join within the stipulated time after allotment, or who quit after admission, will forfeit the registration fee as a penalty.

Important Notes for Candidates

  • There is no provision for fresh option registration in the next phase unless new colleges are added, so candidates are advised to register all options they wish to consider in this phase itself.
  • Allotment will be lost for candidates who do not take admission within the stipulated time, and they will not be considered for further centralised allotment.
  • Candidates whose rank has been withheld can still register options, but these will not be considered for allotment unless they clear the defects and get their rank released before 3:00 PM on 19.08.2026.
