The Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the MBBS/BDS CAP 2026-27 schedule, extending registration in line with the MCC’s NEET UG 2026 AIQ counselling extension. The update applies to Group A medical and dental admissions in Maharashtra.
The revision, issued as Notice No. 08, follows MCC’s notice dated 13/08/2026 and the State CET Cell’s earlier Notice No. 03, dated 05/08/2026.

Important Notes
- Registration Confirmation – A candidate is considered registered only after successful payment of the registration fee. Deduction of money alone does not confirm registration.
- Document Upload – Candidates who fail to upload the required documents will not be considered for admission under their claimed category.
- Merit List Grievances – Changes to the merit list during the grievance period will be considered only when supported by valid documentary proof.
- Cheque Payment Rule – If the fee is paid by cheque on a bank holiday, candidates must replace it with a Demand Draft (DD) on the next working day.
- Admission Cancellation – Failure to replace the cheque with a DD within the specified time may result in cancellation of admission.
- Schedule Changes – The counselling schedule may be revised based on directions from MCC, AACCC, Central Government, State Government, or courts.
- NRI Registration – NRI candidates must complete registration on the Foreign Candidate Registration Portal by August 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM for eligibility verification.
- NRI Counselling Process – After verification, NRI candidates will follow the same counselling schedule applicable to other candidates.
- Previous Instructions – All other instructions mentioned in Notice No. 03 will continue to remain applicable.
Candidates should verify payment, documents and category claims carefully because missing proof can affect merit-list changes and admission eligibility under the Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 counselling rules.
