The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released Notice No. 18, announcing the schedule for registration and the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Round 3 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under Group A for the academic year 2026-27.
Background
As per Notice No. 13 dated September 5, 2026, CAP Round 2 for MBBS and BDS courses under Group A has been completed.
After considering the schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, for All India Quota and State Counselling, the CET Cell has decided to fill the seats remaining vacant after Round 2 through CAP Round 3.

Important Instructions
- Candidates already holding a seat or candidates who were not allotted any seat in CAP Round 1 and Round 2 cannot register again.
- Candidates who cancelled or did not join their allotted seat in CAP Round 2 must unlock their application, resubmit the form and pay the required fee through candidate login to participate in Round 3.
- All choices and preferences submitted during CAP Round 2 will become null and void.
- Candidates must fill fresh preferences for CAP Round 3.
- Candidates with “Joined” status in AIQ Round 3 will not be considered for Maharashtra CAP Round 3 or later State Counselling rounds.
- Joining the seat allotted in CAP Round 3 is mandatory.
- Candidates allotted a seat in CAP Round 3 will not be considered for subsequent rounds, whether they join the allotted seat or not.
- PWD candidates must have claimed the PWD quota during NEET UG 2026 and must submit a PWD eligibility certificate issued by an MCC-authorised medical board.
- EWS certificates must be valid for the academic year 2026-27 and must be issued strictly in the Maharashtra State Government format.
- EWS certificates issued in the Central Government format will not be accepted.
- OBC and SEBC candidates can submit their Caste Validity Certificate up to six months from the CAP registration date, as per the Government Resolution dated July 2, 2026.
- SC, VJ, DT, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, OBC and SBC candidates can submit their Caste Validity Certificate up to three months from the circular date, September 4, 2026.
- NRI candidates must register on the Foreign Candidate Registration Portal before September 25, 2026.
- NRI candidates are eligible only for 15% Institute Quota seats.
