Maharashtra NEET UG 2026: List of Not Qualified Candidates Released

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the list of candidates who have not qualified for MBBS and BDS admissions under NEET-UG 2026. The list was published on 26 August 2026 along with the final merit list for Group A courses.

Candidates who registered for state-quota medical and dental admissions can now check whether their names appear in the qualified or not-qualified list.

Overview

Issued by the Government of Maharashtra’s State CET Cell, the list spans 5 pages and includes 234 candidates who registered on the CET Cell portal but have been marked as “Not Qualified” for admission consideration in the current cycle.

What the List Contains

The notification lists the following details for each candidate:

  • Sr. No. – Serial number in the list
  • NEET All India Rank
  • NEET Roll Number
  • CET Cell Online Form Number
  • Name of the Candidate
  • Gender
  • Category (most entries fall under the OPEN category)
  • NRI Status, where applicable
  • Specified Reservation (such as PWD, Hilly Area, or other divyang sub-categories, where applicable)

Unlike the merit list, this document does not carry a “Candidature Type” or admission remark, since these candidates are not being considered for seat allotment in the current round.

Why Candidates May Appear on This List

Candidates are typically marked as “Not Qualified” for reasons such as:

  • Not meeting the minimum NEET-UG 2026 qualifying percentile/cutoff prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the state authority
  • Discrepancies or incomplete information in the registration or document verification process
  • Non-fulfillment of eligibility criteria specified in the NEET-UG 2026 Information Brochure for MBBS/BDS admissions

  3. Open the List of Not Qualified Candidates PDF.
