1. Online Registration & Session Apply: August 6 to August 12, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
2. Registration Fee Payment: August 6 to August 13, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
3. Document Upload: August 6 to August 13, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
4. Document Verification: August 7 to August 14, 2026, through online verification or scrutiny centres.
5. Registered Candidate List: August 15, 2026.
6. Provisional Merit List: August 15, 2026.
7. Grievance Submission: August 16 to August 17, 2026.
8. Final Merit List: August 18, 2026.
9. Seat Matrix: August 18, 2026.
10. Online Choice/Preference Filling: August 19 to August 22, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.
11. CAP Round 1 Result: August 23, 2026.
12. Physical Joining at Allotted College: August 24 to August 28, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

Key Points for Candidates

1. NEET UG Qualification: Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 for MBBS/BDS can register for this phase.
2. Online Registration: Complete registration and document uploading only through the official mahacet.org portal within the notified dates.
3. Document Upload: Upload all required documents correctly. Failure to submit documents may affect consideration under the claimed category.
4. Registration Fee: Registration will be considered complete only after successful payment of the prescribed fee.
5. PwD Candidates: Candidates must have claimed PwD status during NEET UG 2026 and submit a valid eligibility certificate issued by an approved medical board.
6. EWS Certificate: EWS candidates must submit a 2026-27 valid certificate in the Maharashtra State Government format. Central Government format certificates will not be accepted.
7. Reserved Categories: Candidates must keep their Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate, and NCL Certificate, wherever applicable, ready during registration.
8. OBC/SEBC Candidates: As per the July 2, 2026 government resolution, eligible OBC and SEBC candidates have up to six months from registration to submit the Caste Validity Certificate. Failure to submit it may lead to cancellation of admission.
9. NRI Candidates: NRI applicants must register on the Foreign Candidate Registration Portal by August 11, 2026 and can compete only for the 15% Institute Quota based on merit.
10. Physical Joining Fee: Fees at the time of physical joining must generally be paid through Demand Draft. Cheques are permitted only on bank holidays and must be replaced by a DD on the next working day, failing which admission may be cancelled.
