The Directorate of AYUSH, Madhya Pradesh, has released detailed guidelines for State Quota UG and PG AYUSH counselling 2026-27. The counselling process will cover eligible government autonomous and private colleges offering Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, and Naturopathy & Yoga Science courses.
The entire admission process will be conducted online through the MP Online portal, as per directions issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, NCISM, NCH and the Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Department.
MP AYUSH Counselling 2026: Courses Covered
The counselling guidelines apply to the following courses:
- BAMS.
- BHMS.
- BUMS.
- MD/MS Ayurveda.
- MD Homeopathy.
- MD Unani.
- Naturopathy and Yoga Science courses, wherever applicable.
Only colleges that have received admission permission from the relevant regulatory authority and the MP AYUSH Department will participate in counselling.
MP AYUSH Counselling Process
The phase-wise counselling schedule for UG and PG courses will be published on the official Directorate of AYUSH website and the MP Online portal.
Candidates must complete the following steps:
- Register online through the MP AYUSH counselling portal.
- Enter personal, academic, NEET and category details carefully.
- Select a preferred help centre for document verification.
- Appear physically at the selected government autonomous AYUSH college with original documents.
- Check the provisional merit list.
- Fill and lock choices for available seats.
- Check the seat allotment result.
- Report to the allotted institute.
- Pay the prescribed first-year fee through MP Online.
- Complete the admission process at the college.
Registration and Document Verification
Candidates must register at ayush.mponline.gov.in. Any incorrect information entered during registration can be corrected only during the specified edit window.
Once document verification is completed, no further changes will be allowed. Registration and document verification are required only once for the entire counselling process.
Candidates who register but fail to complete document verification will not be considered for subsequent counselling rounds.
Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
After publication of the merit list, eligible candidates must fill and lock their preferred colleges and courses within the notified counselling period.
Candidates may edit their choices before the deadline. Once choices are locked, allotment will be made strictly on the basis of:
- Merit rank.
- NEET eligibility and applicable admission rules.
- Category and reservation status.
- Availability of seats.
- Choices locked by the candidate.
Candidates should arrange their preferences carefully because the allotment authority will use the final locked choice list for seat allocation.
Fee and Admission Rules
After receiving a seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted college with their original documents and pay the prescribed first-year fee through the MP Online portal.
Fee details for government autonomous and private AYUSH colleges can be obtained from:
- The official website of the concerned college.
- The college admission office.
- The MP Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee.
- The MP Private University Regulatory Commission.
Candidates should verify the complete fee structure before accepting a seat.
Important Eligibility Restrictions
The MP AYUSH counselling guidelines include the following restrictions:
- Candidates admitted through All India Quota counselling conducted by AACCC or MP Online will not be eligible for MP State Quota counselling.
- Candidates declared ineligible for State counselling by AACCC cannot participate in the MP State Quota process.
- Offline admissions made by colleges outside the official counselling process will not be considered valid.
- Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements under the MP UG/PG Admission Rules 2026.
Seat-Leaving Bond Rules
Candidates admitted to government autonomous AYUSH colleges must execute a seat-leaving bond at the time of admission.
