The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the NEET PG 2026 result today, September 24, 2026, along with the minimum qualifying/eligibility cutoff scores for admission to MD/MS/DNB/DrNB (Direct 6 Years Courses)/PG Medical Diploma Courses as mentioned in the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2026.

As per the declared NEET PG 2026 result, candidates belonging to the General/EWS category need to score at least 262 marks out of 720 to meet the qualifying requirement.
The qualifying score is 226 for candidates from the SC, ST and OBC categories, while the cutoff for General/EWS candidates under the PwBD category is 244 marks.

What Comes Next: NEET PG 2026 Counselling
Candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2026 as per the category-wise cutoff can now proceed for MCC All India Quota (AIQ) counselling and respective state counselling processes for admission to MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma courses.
- MCC AIQ Counselling will be conducted for 50% All India Quota seats in government medical colleges across India
- State counselling will be conducted by respective state authorities for remaining state quota seats
- Deemed/Central Universities counselling will be conducted separately by MCC
Candidates must score at or above their category’s qualifying percentile to enter MCC All India Quota (AIQ) counselling; UR/EWS candidates need 50th percentile, while SC/ST/OBC candidates need 40th percentile.
