Online choice filling for the first round of UP NEET UG 2026 counselling started today, September 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM, the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, announced.
Candidates aspiring for MBBS and BDS seats under the state quota in government and private medical and dental colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh can now lock in their choices on the official counselling portal. The window will remain open till September 5, 2026, 5:00 PM.
The process is being carried out as per the schedule set by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, for NEET UG courses, under notification number M.E-3/2026/1603 issued on September 1, 2026.
What Happens Next
Candidates who are allotted seats will be able to download their allotment letters and report to their respective colleges for admission between September 8 and September 14.
