The Uttarakhand state centralised counselling has released the revised seat matrix for Round 3 of NEET UG 2026 admissions, prepared after cancellation of admissions. It covers State Quota and All India Open Quota seats as on 30 September 2026. The matrix lists seats in 11 colleges, 9 for MBBS and 2 for BDS, across government and private institutes.

Seats by Course
- Government MBBS (6 colleges): 109 seats, all under State Quota. Late Jagjivan Ram Government Medical College, Pithoragarh, has the most, at 43.
- Private MBBS (3 colleges): 162 seats. Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute has the most, at 63, followed by Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya (56) and Himalayan Institute (43).
- BDS (2 colleges): 30 seats (16 at Seema Dental College and 14 at Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute).
All India Open Quota seats are only in private colleges, and NRI Quota seats are only in the three private MBBS colleges.
Reservation Details
State Quota seats are divided under Unreserved, SC, OBC, ST and EWS. Each group has columns such as Open, FF, DPW, PwD, Women and Orphan. The matrix also has Central Pool and “wkm” columns. Candidates should read the PDF for the exact category-wise seats in each college.
Important Notes in the Matrix
- Reservation follows the Government Order No. 124/XXX(2)/2021-53(01)/2001 dated 22 May 2020. The new 100-point roster has applied college-wise since the 2020-21 session and is carried forward to 2026-27 and onward.
- The seats shown are based on information from each institute or college.
- The number of seats may increase or decrease, subject to orders and approvals from the Government of India or the Uttarakhand government.
- One seat is reserved in the Central Pool for the spouse and children of terrorist victims, as per government direction. This applies only to government colleges.
