The CPS (College of Physicians and Surgeons in Mumbai), an analyzing body established in 1912, also grants PG diplomas and fellowships in Rajasthan, Odisha, Gujarat, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. CPS/FCPS Admission Process
- As per the new rule, admission will likely be only on the idea of marks scored within the NEET PG examination. Notice for admission shall be displayed on the website of www.cpsmumbai.org.
- CPS Admission procedure is a state Centralised Online Admission Process. The sole authority to conduct online CPS Admission is DMER Mumbai.
- Candidates need to visit the official website at https://med-edu.in for registration based on NEET PG Score 2023. Candidates can apply to Diploma/Fellowship Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Maharashtra.
- In order to secure a Clinical or Para-clinical (Diploma/Fellowship) seat in Deemed Medical College, Candidates will have to register at https://dmer.org. Two rounds of counselling take place followed by a Mop-Up round of CPS Admission 2023-24 is subjected to the availability of Diploma/ Fellowship Seats after the 2nd round.
- Admissions to the Diploma and Fellowship courses in colleges of Maharashtra are solely based on the NEET PG 2023 score. Only NEET 2023 qualified candidates can participate in the CPS Mumbai Admission 2023-24. Details are being shared in the article below.
Registration | –Candidates have to register on the website i.e. https://med-edu.in and submit the counselling fee which is Rs. 5000 through Internet banking or any online mode. – DMER, Mumbai will publish the CPS Mumbai 2023-24 Seat Allotment list for the qualified candidate as per the secured marks and required percentile. Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in further events of Counselling. |
Choice Filling | Candidates need to fill in Online choices at https://med-edu.in by using their registration number and Transaction ID generated at the time of registration. Candidates have to fill their choices of colleges as per their priority. They can fill choices as many as they wish. |
Allotment Result | Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the DMER, Mumbai at https://dmer.org. Candidates are advised to download their allotment letter which needs to be produced at the time of reporting to the allotted college. Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank, scored marks, and the choices of their preferences. |
Reporting to Allotted College | This is the final event when the candidates need to report to the allotted college with an allotment letter before the last date of admission. Seats will be considered as confirmed, once the fee payment and verification of documents will take place. |
CPS/FCPS Eligibility Criteria
Below we provide complete details about CPS/FCPS Mumbai eligibility criteria for 2023:
A candidate, who has completed M.B.B.S., or equal, an examination from a medical college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). |
A candidate who has completed a one-year obligatory internship on or earlier than 31/08/2023. A University Internship Completion Certificate is necessary. |
A candidate, who has appeared for NEET-PG 2023. However, candidates ought to notice that solely NEET-eligible candidates shall be thought-about for admission courses in the preliminary phases of Central Counselling. If seats stay vacant, then the choice concerning the admission to non-eligible candidates/decreasing the NEET score for eligibility shall be taken as per the instructions of the Central Government/Respective State Government. |
A candidate shall possess a permanent registration certificate from the State Medical Council of the respective state at the time of joining. |

A. 1. The Basic eligibility criteria for FCPS and CPS Admission 2023 is that the candidate must have passed MBBS or other equivalent degree recognized Medical Council of India.
2. The student must get a Certificate of Eligibility from CPS at the time of enrolling in post-graduate courses (certificate course/ Diploma/ Fellowship) in CPS and FCPS Courses.
3. The eligibility certificate is not required for students who have passed the MCPS Examination before 2009.
