Gujarat AYUSH UG 2026 Revised Counselling Schedule Released: Round 1 Starts September 17

Gujarat’s State/UT counselling authority for AYUSH admissions will follow the Revised Counselling Schedule for A.Y. 2026-27 as specified by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), for a seamless admission process to Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani & Homeopathy (ASU&H) UG courses.

As per the directive, State/UT counselling authorities – including Gujarat – shall follow this common schedule, which covers both Central Counselling (AACCC) for All India Quota, Government, Government-Aided, Deemed University, Central University and National Institute seats, as well as State/UT Counselling covering State quota and All India Quota seats of private institutes.

Important Cut-off Dates for Gujarat AYUSH Admissions

  • Cut-off date of admission in ASU&H-UG courses for AY 2026-27: 30th November 2026
  • Cut-off date for uploading admitted students’ data by institutions on the NCISM/NCH portal: 30th November 2026 (on or before 6 PM)
  • Last date for data uploading of admitted students by the Gujarat counselling authority on the State Ayush Admission Reporting inter-phase of the AACCC-UG Portal: 30th November 2026

What This Means for Gujarat AYUSH Candidates

Candidates applying for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses through Gujarat’s State/UT quota, as well as All India Quota seats in Gujarat’s private Ayush institutes, should:

  • Track the State/UT counselling dates above for Round 1, 2, and 3, along with the Stray Vacancy Round
  • Complete admission formalities within the specified last date of joining for each round to avoid forfeiture of the allotted seat
  • Watch for further Stray Vacancy Round announcements, since counselling authorities have been directed to conduct sufficient phases based on the number of eligible candidates and vacant seats within the state
  • Ensure admission is finalized on or before the final cut-off date of 30th November 2026

The notification specifies that State/UT counselling authorities, including Gujarat’s, shall conduct sufficient phases of stray vacancy rounds to fill vacant seats, keeping in mind the number of available eligible candidates in the state and the availability of vacant seats within the cut-off date of admission notified by NCISM/NCH.
