Institute of PG Medical Education and Research Kolkata also has a teaching hospital, namely SSKM Hospital, which provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The hospital is equipped with modern medical equipment and offers specialized healthcare facilities across various departments.

The hospital is situated in several buildings. The Main Building contains indoor wards of Surgery, Medicine and Paediatrics. The Eye-ENT complex contains the departments of Ophthalmology and Oto Rhino Laryngology. The Maternity Block is a separate 3-storied building that houses Gynaecology & Obstetrics. Orthopaedics Ward is situated in the ground floor of Woodburn Block. Psychiatry and Physical Medicine are situated in their own buildings. The OPD Block is in the eastern end of campus. Counselling Process (AIQ Quota)

Step 1: Complete the MCC NEET registration process, including payment.

Step 2: NEET counselling choice filling and locking

Step 4: Reporting to the allotted Medical/Dental College (option for free entry/exit)

Step 5: Round 2 net vacant seats are published.

Step 6: NEET counselling round 2 registration (not necessary for already registered candidates) and fresh choice filling for NEET counselling round 2

Step 7: Round 2 of seat allocation (exit with forfeiture of security amount option available)

Step 8: Reporting to medical/dental colleges/institutions in preparation for round 2 (candidates once joined the allotted seat are not allowed to vacate the seat).
