Shillong, September 3, 2026: The Office of the Director of Health Services, Medical Education & Research (DME), Government of Meghalaya has released an advertisement inviting online applications for Round 2 Counselling for admission into 1st Year MBBS Courses at PA Sangma International Medical College & Hospital, Baridua, Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya for the academic session 2026-27.
The counselling is open for State Quota, Management Quota, and NRI Quota seats.

Eligibility Highlights
- State Quota: Candidates must be ST/SC (including OST) of Meghalaya, or a permanent resident holding a valid PRC. Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General category; 40% for ST/SC/OST.
- Management Quota: Open to all Indian citizens meeting the same academic criteria.
- NRI Quota: NRI candidates must upload a certificate from the Indian Diplomatic Mission and comply with revised MCC Guidelines dated 27th May 2026.
- Candidates must have qualified NEET-UG 2026 and be at least 17 years old as of 31st December of the admission year.
- Medical fitness certification by a Government-constituted medical board is mandatory.

Freeze/Float Option (As Per MCC Guidelines 2026)
- Freeze: Candidates must physically report to complete admission formalities.
- Float: Candidates retain their allotted seat and remain eligible for upgradation in later rounds, without needing to complete final admission formalities immediately.
