Origin of College – Rajah Muthaiah Medical College was born due to the dream of Dr Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad to have a medical college under the umbrella of Annamalai University.

The dream was made true in 1985 by his illustrious son, Dr M A M Ramaswamy, the present Pro-Chancellor, who set up a medical college at Annamalainagar.

UG / PG Courses – The UG course is MBBS. The PG courses are in PG Diploma, MD & MS.  All of these UG / PG Courses are recognized by National Medical Commission.
