Bhopal, September 3, 2026: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has issued a notice announcing a fresh registration window for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates ahead of the MP State Combined Counselling 2026-27.
According to the official notice dated September 3, 2026, the National Medical Commission (NMC), New Delhi has approved an increase in intake capacity at two private medical colleges in the state:
- RKDF Medical College, Bhopal – seats increased from 150 to 200
- Sukhsagar Medical College, Jabalpur – seats increased from 200 to 250
These additional seats will be reflected in the vacancy chart for the second round of counselling.
Registration Window for Fresh Candidates
Candidates who could not register before the first round of counselling can now apply through a fresh registration link, which will remain open from September 5, 2026 to September 6, 2026 (till 11:30 PM).
The DME has clarified that candidates who have already registered do not need to register again.
Edit Facility Available
An edit facility has also been enabled for:
- Already registered candidates
- Fresh candidates
Exception: Candidates who have already been admitted through the first round of State counselling are not eligible for this edit window.
The edit facility will be available from September 5 to September 6, 2026 (till 11:30 PM). Candidates who wish to make corrections to their registration form can do so by using the edit link provided on the candidate login portal.
How to Register/Edit
- Visit the official MPOnline Portal or DME website (www.medicaleducation.mp.gov.in)
- Log in using candidate credentials
- Complete fresh registration or click the edit link to amend existing entries
- Submit before the deadline of September 6, 2026, 11:30 PM
Candidates have been advised to stay in regular touch with the DME website and MPOnline Portal for further updates regarding the MP NEET UG counselling process.
Candidates who missed the initial registration window for MP NEET UG 2026 counselling are advised to complete fresh registration between September 5-6, 2026 (till 11:30 PM), while already registered candidates can use the edit facility to make corrections to their forms within the same timeframe.
