Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, formerly known as Government Medical College Mysore, is one of India’s oldest medical colleges. It is also one of the most respected. Established in 1924, it holds the distinction of being the first medical college in Karnataka and the seventh in India. The college is located in the heart of Mysore City.
