Service Bond Format for Non-Service Candidates

Along with the revised amounts, the bond format for non-service MD/MS candidates in broad speciality departments has been issued for the 2025-26. Its key conditions are:

  • The bond must be executed on stamp paper of value not less than ₹500.
  • After completing the course, the candidate must serve the Government for two years as Senior Resident, Assistant Professor, Junior Specialist or Medical Officer, as the Government requires. Remuneration will be as prescribed from time to time.
  • The candidate may be asked to serve on different types of posts or seats during these two years.
  • Original certificates, including the bachelor’s and postgraduate degrees, must be deposited at the time of admission. The college retains them until the bond conditions are discharged.
  • If the candidate fails to serve, the candidate and the surety are jointly and severally liable to pay the bond amount. The Government may recover it as arrears of land revenue.
  • The bond requires signatures of the candidate, the surety and two witnesses, with names, addresses and mobile numbers.

Surety Bond Requirements at Reporting

Candidates must also submit a separate surety bond at the time of reporting:

  • Surety amount: ₹10 lakh, including a bank guarantee of ₹1.5 lakh. The remaining ₹8.5 lakh is covered by the surety bond. Both are submitted at joining.
  • When it applies: If the candidate does not join the allotted institution by the stipulated date, leaves the PG course before completion, or has admission or registration cancelled for unsatisfactory performance, misconduct or indiscipline.
  • Sureties: Two sureties must be named, with permanent address, PIN code and mobile number.
  • Personal bond: The candidate also executes a personal bond of ₹10 lakh, payable to the Government of Rajasthan if the seat is left.
  • Certificates: If the amount is not paid, the college may retain the candidate’s original certificates.

Bond for In-Service Candidates

A separate service bond format applies to in-service candidates under the state quota for PG and super-specialty courses (MD/MS and DM/MCh):

  • The bond amount is ₹80 lakh, with interest at Government rates from the date of demand, plus legal costs and expenses.
  • Candidates selecting government colleges must serve the Government for a minimum of five years after completing the course, if the Government desires.
  • If the candidate fails to serve, the surety is jointly and severally liable for a penalty of ₹80 lakh.
  • The bond is submitted at the time of reporting on stamp paper of value not less than ₹500.

What Candidates Should Keep Ready

Selected candidates should confirm the category of their allotted specialty from the table above and arrange stamp paper, two sureties and two witnesses before reporting. The ₹1.5 lakh bank guarantee and original degree certificates should also be ready at the time of joining.
