Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research (BCPSR), Durgapur was established in the year 2008 by SKS Educations and Social Trust. The motto of the society is to develop and nurture pharmaceutical education & research. The institution is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi and affiliated to WBUT (West Bengal University of Technology), Kolkata.

Campus
The institution has well-stocked library, modern laboratories offering latest technology equipment and spacious classrooms for materializing the dream of the institution to contribute more in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research. There are individual laboratories for each department. The instrumentation room is also available in the college campus. The library of the institution covers the large set of the journals, e journals and thesis.
Facilities
The BCPSR provides the all possible facilities to their students. It has well-maintained classrooms, ventilated labs, well-furnished auditorium with maximum numbers of seating arrangement and a large library. It has many other facilities inside the campus boundaries like gymnasium, hostels for boys and girls, lecture halls, herbal garden, health care centre, museum, ATM, animal house, common room and cafeteria.
Programmes
The course offered by the BCPSR was in the field of Pharmacy. Offered courses are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. All pharmacy courses are affiliated to WBUT. To take admission in the pharmacy course, the candidate should have passed 12th or equivalent from any recognized board. Selection will be based as per the institution norms.
