Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, has released the tentative Round 2 counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions for the academic session 2026-27.
The notice applies to admissions in government, government-aided and private medical and dental colleges in Haryana, including private and minority universities such as SGT University, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Al-Falah University and Sanskaram University.

Who Can Participate?
The following candidates can participate in Haryana MBBS/BDS Round 2 counselling:
- Fresh candidates who did not register during Round 1.
- Candidates who registered in Round 1 but did not receive a seat.
- Candidates allotted a Round 1 seat but who did not join.
- Candidates who joined a Round 1 seat and want to participate in upgradation.
- Candidates who have already registered in Round 1 do not need to register again.
Candidates allotted or admitted to a Round 1 seat must submit their willingness for upgradation online. Candidates who do not submit willingness will not be considered for Round 2 upgradation.
Security Deposit for Round 2
Candidates participating in Round 2 must pay the applicable security amount online.

Candidates opting for both government and private college seats must pay the applicable amount for the private college category.
Security Deposit Rules
- Candidates who do not pay the required security amount will not be eligible for Round 2 allotment.
- If a candidate joins the allotted seat, the security amount will be adjusted against the first-year tuition fee.
- If a candidate receives a seat according to their preference but does not join, the security amount will be forfeited.
- Candidates whose security amount is forfeited may participate in Round 3 after making a fresh deposit.
- Candidates who are not allotted a seat in Round 2 or Round 3 will receive a refund after completion of the counselling process.
- A newly registered Round 2 candidate who does not receive a seat may participate in Round 3 without depositing the security amount again.
Fresh Choice Filling Is Mandatory
Choices submitted during Round 1 will be treated as null and void for Round 2. Every candidate participating in Round 2 must fill and lock a fresh list of preferences in order of priority.
Candidates should carefully review available colleges, courses, quotas and fee structures before locking their choices.
Admission and Reporting Rules
Provisionally allotted candidates must complete physical document verification at the designated centre between September 17 and September 19, 2026. After successful verification, candidates can download the provisional admission letter.
The final date for joining the allotted institute is September 20, 2026, up to 4:00 PM. Failure to report within the deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat and forfeiture of the security amount.
Important Instructions
- Candidates must provide accurate information during registration.
- Admission may be cancelled if incorrect information or invalid documents are discovered during verification.
- The security amount may be forfeited in case of seat cancellation caused by incorrect information or failure to produce required documents.
- Round 1 choices will not be carried forward to Round 2.
- Candidates who joined a seat through All India Quota or State counselling up to Round 3 will not be eligible for stray or further rounds and may be required to submit an undertaking.
- Candidates must follow the NEET UG Information Bulletin 2026 and the Haryana Government notification dated August 27, 2026.
- BC-A and BC-B category claims will be governed by Haryana Government Notification No. 40/13/2024-1SW dated July 16, 2024.
