In a significant relief for medical and dental aspirants in Telangana, the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has officially reopened the online registration process for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026–27. The registration window, which had closed on August 12, 2026, has been reopened following numerous requests from candidates who missed the earlier deadline.
Why the Registration Has Been Reopened
According to the official notification issued by the Registrar, KNRUHS, the online registration process for admission into MBBS and BDS courses under the Competent Authority Quota in Government, Private Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS had closed on August 12, 2026 .
In view of several requests received from candidates, the university has now reopened the registration window from 2:00 PM on August 18, 2026 to 6:00 PM on August 20, 2026 . This decision is in continuation of the university’s earlier notification dated August 4, 2026.
