New Delhi, September 5, 2026: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has issued an urgent notice informing candidates about the addition of new MBBS seats to the Seat Matrix of Round 2 of UG Counselling 2026.
As per Notice No. 19 (Ref. U-11011/07/2026-MEC) dated 05.09.2026, MCC received information from the concerned institutes regarding the addition of seats under the All India Quota, and these seats have now been added to the Round 2 seat matrix.
Choice Filling Temporarily Halted
Due to the addition of these new seats, the Choice Filling process has been temporarily halted and will resume at 7:00 PM today, 05.09.2026. Candidates will then be able to exercise choice filling for these newly added seats as well.

Total new seats added: 30 MBBS seats across the three institutes.

Candidates participating in MCC UG NEET Counselling 2026 Round 2 are advised to note that 30 new MBBS seats (10 each at AIIMS Bibinagar, AIIMS Kalyani, and AIIMS Nagpur under All India Quota UR category) have been added to the Round 2 seat matrix as per notice dated 05.09.2026, choice filling was temporarily halted and resumed at 7:00 PM on September 5, 2026, and they should review these newly added seats before finalizing their choices on the official MCC website www.mcc.nic.in.
