OVERVIEW
Saraswati Medical College Unnao is private medical college is affiliated from Chhatrapati Sahuji Mahraj University, Kanpur situated at Unnao in Uttar Pardesh at a distance of 35 km from Lucknow Railway station and 55 km from Kanpur.
The college was established and is managed by Saraswati Group of Institutions Lucknow. The college is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) in 2016 and has been permitted for intake at 150 seats and also recognized by the state government. Saraswati Medical College Unnao offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course of 5½ years duration and along with the period of internship.
It is comprehensive medical institute having modern infrastructure of 320 beded hospital and having high academic standard and discipline. In the period of internship, the students develop their key skills and gain practical experience under the careful supervision of highly experience doctors of the college.

Saraswati Institute of Technology & Management (SITM) was established in the year 2007 as a private, self-financed and co-educational institution founded by the Saraswati Group of Educational Institutes. The college is affiliated to the UPTU, Lucknow. The SITM is approved by the AICTE, and MHRD, New Delhi and State Board of Technical Education and Government of UP.
Campus:
The campus is situated on the Lucknow – Kanpur National Highway (NH-25) at Madhu Vihar in Unnao, the district of UP. The campus is 40 km away from the Lucknow City and 20 km from the Amausi Airport. The college is co-located with four more institutions founded by the same group and spread over an area of 37 acres of land.

The college offers a total of seven academic programmes as six B.Tech degree programmes in the field of engineering and technology and an MBA programme in five disciplines of business management.
Undergraduate (M.B.B.S.)
Saraswati Medical College:
Saraswati Medical College offers BACHELOR OF MEDICINE AND BACHELOR OF SURGERY (M.B.B.S.). It is a comprehensive medical institute having excellent infrastructure & maintaining high Academic standards.
Intake Capacity: The proposed intake capacity of the college for the first year M.B.B.S. Class is 150.
Eligibility: All Students must qualify NEET examination to be eligible for admission through counseling by the competent authority.
Age – The candidate should have completed 17 year of age on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
Qualification – The candidate should have passed in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at 10+2 Intermediate, ICSE, CBSE or any equivalent examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together. For SC/ST/OBC category candidates, the required percentage in Physics, Chemistry & Biiology taken together is 40%.
Study Programme: The total duration of the course is 54 months (4 1/2 yrs.) The structure and content of the syllabus is based on guidelines laid down by the Medical Council of India. The course is divided in 9 semesters of 6 months each.
Students & Staff:
There are around 480 seats as an intake capacity in all programmes offered by the SITM, beside the Group which has more than 1500 students, over 200 members of faculties and over 700 non-technical staff members.
Facilities:
The SITM campus houses in various educational facilities in term of modern classrooms, laboratories, computer centre, well-stocked library, 24X7 internet connectivity, canteen, medical facility, sports centre, boys and girls hostels and transportation facility for the students and staff.
Placement:
The TPO cell of the college is focused on developing the self-initiatives, business development skills, and decision-making skills with a positive attitude and leadership abilities of the students.
