Application Process
How to apply
There is given below detailed application procedure
- Admission Seeker can avail of the SNAP 2024 Application Form via online mode only.
- Candidate must visit the Official website.
- Fill in all the necessary details like Personal, contact, domicile, qualification etc.
- Upload the scanned images of the photograph, signature and index finger impression in the prescribed format.
- Make the fee payment using online and offline mode.
- After the fee payments, take the printout of the confirmation page of the application form and keep it safe for further use.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay the fee of INR.1950 /- in order to proceed to phase two of the application processes. The payment of fees can be carried out by using two methods given below:
- Online mode: Candidates can pay their fees by selection either of methods – Net Banking, Debit or Credit Card.
- Offline mode: Candidates can also pay their fees by demand draft from any Nationalized Bank the below-mentioned amount drawn in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
- To pay the fees by using offline mode, select the mode of payment as “demand draft” in make payment tab.
- Take out a print-out of the payment advice form and fill in the demand draft details.
- Sign and send the form with the demand draft to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the address given below.
- Once the demand draft reaches, Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) will be in charge of authenticating the details of the demand draft. And then the candidates will receive an email confirming the payment. Admit Card will be available only after the confirmation of payment. Payment mode Amount Online Mode INR 1,950 Demand Draft INR 1,950 Candidates are also required to pay INR 1,000 for each program that they have applied or desire to apply. Both the fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and STS will not be responsible for delay on part of post/courier.
Note: SNAP Test fee and institute programme payment are non-refundable.
SNAP Eligibility
SNAP Eligibility is determined and set by SIU. Even though the eligibility for candidates who require specific discipline/subject specialization will be decided by the respective institute, final eligibility for admission will be decided by SIU. Those who aspire to join MBA and MSc programmes for the 2024-2025 session must fulfil the SNAP eligibility criteria for the course they wish to appear for.
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 50%.
- For SC/ST category candidates, the aggregate marks for bachelor degree should be 45%.
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- There is no limit of neither age nor number of attempts.
- Candidates with foreign degrees or qualifications are also eligible, but such candidates should obtain equivalence certificates from the Association of Indian Universities.
- Candidates who have appeared for the final exam of the bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply, but their admission will be provisional and will be cancelled if leads to non-fulfilment of the abovementioned eligibility.
Candidates with foreign degrees or qualification (Foreign Nationals/ PIO/ OCI/ NRI) are also eligible, but such candidates should obtain equivalence certificates from the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates who are applying with a foreign degree must submit a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SNAP 2024 Registration
Candidates can register for SNAP 2024 on the official website. The registration process is carried out into two phases: SNAP 2024 registration and choice of program registration.
Both the registration processes for SNAP and the institute are integrated and can be carried out on the same portal.
- Register online on the official website – from 23rd August to 23rd November 2023.
- Fill in all the required details such as name, date of birth, category and test city preference.
- Upload scanned a recent coloured passport size photograph.
- Recheck all the filled details, as if once the payment is processed, it will not be possible to make changes in them.
Here is a step-by-step process to how one can fill the application form for SNAP 2024:
- Visit www.snaptest.org
- Click on “New Registration” and “I agree” to proceed.
- Fill in the details such as email id, mobile number and password.
- Click on “Register”.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email with username and password.
- Login using the received details – username and password – to fill the application form.
- Upload photographs as per requirement and pay the fee of INR.1950 /-.
- The application fee can either be processed via online mode or via demand draft.
- To choose a program and college, proceed to online registration form.
- Note: The registration fees for each programme has to be paid separately
Qualification:
- The candidate must have a three-year graduate degree from any recognized University.
- Candidate must have at least aggregate 50% marks and 45% marks for SC/ST Category.
- A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Age:
- There is no age limit for the SNAP 2024.
Nationality:
- Candidate must be a resident of India.
- Foreign Candidates are also eligible for this Exam.

SNAP Reservation 2024 Policy for SIMS (Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies):
Defense Category – (General): 80% seats are reserved for the dependents of the Defense Personnel as per merit.
Defense Category – (Special): 10% seats are reserved for the dependents for the Defense Personnel who killed or got disabled with more than 50% disabilities in action such as war, warlike operation, or counter-insurgency as per merit.
Open Category – 10% seats are reserved for the civilian candidates under open or industry category in which the candidates are sponsored or recommended by the industry as per merit.
Note: Defense Personnel is those who are serving or retired from Air Force, Army, or Navy and fall into the category of ex-servicemen.
SNAP 2024 Exam Pattern
The SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) will be an online mode. The questions will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Basic Guidelines
- No. of Question: Total 60 questions will be asked in the exam.
- Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted through online mode.
- Marking Scheme: Normal Questions carry 1 mark for each question and Special Questions carry 2 marks for each question.
- Negative Marking: Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks for Normal Questions and for Special Questions also.
- Exam Duration: The exam duration will be 1 hours.

SNAP 2024 Admit Card
Those Admission seekers who have registered successfully will be able to download the admit card of SNAP 2024 in online mode tentatively from December 2023. The name of the student, exam centre address, timings for the exam and other details will be represented on the admit card of SNAP 2024. It is important for all student to bring the admit card to the examination centre along with a passport size photograph.
Steps to Download SNAP Admit Card 2024
- The aspirant can download the admit card from SNAP official website from December 2023 (Expected).
- After clicking on the link student will have to submit his/her SNAP 2024 registration number and date of birth to login.
- The admit card of SNAP 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- After checking for any discrepancies, the candidates can download the admit card of SNAP 2024.
Answer Key
The important answer key of SNAP 2024 will be released within a week of the examination. SNAP Answer Key will be published via online mode through the website. The aspirant may have an opportunity for an online challenge against the answer key. All of the right answers to the questions asked in the offline entrance examination of SNAP 2024 will be present in the answer key.
SNAP 2024 Cut-off
The cut-off is the minimum marks scored by the candidates to qualify in the entrance exam. On the basis of cut-off, the merit list will be prepared. SNAP cut-off for 2024 will be prepared on the basis of the SNAP score (out of 150, scaled down to 50 marks), Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). The category-wise cut off for merit list and a wait list will be displayed via online mode through the website.
Result
