SNAP Eligibility Criteria
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2024 is a National level entrance test conducted by the Symbiosis International University (SIU). SNAP 2024 Application Form for MBA courses will be released on the 23rd of August 2023. As per SNAP eligibility criteria, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

Eligibility Criteria
As the SNAP Notification has already been released. This post will give you every sort of information regarding SNAP 2024 Eligibility based on the research of the previous year’s data and newly released information. Qualification Criteria
- The candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline from a statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) for all the Master of Business Administration Program.
- Candidates who have completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- All foreign degrees/qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.
- The Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications.
Nationality
- The candidate must be a resident of India.
- Foreign Nationals are also eligible for this exam.
Reservation Criteria
As per Symbiosis International University (SIU) rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria. These categories are:

SNAP Reservation 2024 Policy for SIMS (Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies):
- Defense Category – (General): 80% of seats are reserved for the dependents of the Defense Personnel as per merit.
- Defense Category – (Special): 10% of seats are reserved for the dependents of the Defense Personnel who were killed or got disabled with more than 50% disabilities in action such as war, warlike operation, or counter-insurgency as per merit.
- Open Category – 10% of seats are reserved for civilian candidates under the open or industry category in which the candidates are sponsored or recommended by the industry as per merit.
Note: Defense Personnel is those who are serving or retired from Air Force, Army, or Navy and fall into the category of ex-servicemen.
