SNAP Counselling Procedure

SNAP 2024 is a national-level qualifying exam conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) annually. The counselling will be scheduled only for those students who have qualified the Symbiosis national aptitude test and have their name in the merit list. It will be held only once and the students need to attend the same as per the official schedule. To participate in SNAP counselling and SNAP seat allotment aspirants will have to register themselves through online mode. Throughout this article we will discuss the SNAP 2024 Counselling Procedure. Candidates shortlisted after the SNAP 2024 exam need to clear the further rounds of selection to get the admission. After clearing the written test, candidates will undergo a Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT).

SNAP 2024 Counselling Procedure

The counselling will be scheduled only for those students who have qualified the Symbiosis national aptitude test and have their name in the merit list. It will be held only once and the students need to attend the same as per the official schedule. During the counselling process, candidates will have to fill their own choice of seats. Candidates are requested to carry all the original certificates and two sets of attested photocopies of the certificates in the counselling session. These documents will be verified during the counselling session.

  • Candidates are required to pay the provisional admission Fee through a demand draft in favor of the University payable at Pune.
  • In case of students who were not allotted any seats during the counselling process, have to apply for the waiting list and pay INR 1,00,000/- through a DD.
  • In case the candidate does not get any seat allotted, the fee shall be returned to the candidate.

SNAP Selection Procedure

The selection procedure for SNAP 2024 will start after the announcement of the result. The SNAP selection procedure will be a three-step process:

  • First, shortlisting of candidates based on their SNAP 2024 score.
  • Second, shortlisted candidates will appear for the selection rounds that include Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds.
  • Third, the announcement of the final selection list by SNAP participating institutes individually.
  1. Group Discussion: This round assesses the ability of candidates to apply logic and reasons. It brings out the individual’s ability to take decisions and his management skills are highlighted. This round will be marked out of 10 marks.
  2. Written Ability Test: Applicants will be asked to write an essay which will have a weightage of 10 marks. The essay can be related to a business management topic or any other related topic.
  3. Personal Interaction: This is the most crucial part of the selection procedure. The aspirant’s overall personality and confidence will be evaluated. Students must confidently answer questions related to their own academic area and work experience. It will carry a total of 30 marks.
