Guangzhou Medical University (GMU), known in Chinese as 广州医科大学 (广医), is a prestigious public medical university located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. Established in June 1958, it was originally named Guangzhou Medical College and was renamed Guangzhou Medical University in April 2013.
The university has achieved remarkable national recognition, being selected as a national “Double First-Class” construction university in 2022 and designated as one of the first batch of national “Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program” pilot universities in 2012. It is also a key construction university of Guangdong Province’s high-level universities and a member of the Sino-Russian Medical University Alliance.

1. New Overseas Training Centers
