Eligibility Criteria
As the NATA Notification is already released. This post will give you every sort of information regarding NATA Eligibility based on previous years’ research and newly released information.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) | (A) 10+2 or equivalent examination of Central/State Govts. with 50% aggregate marks and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination; OR (B) 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govts. with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination; OR (C) International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination | No age limit to apply for NATA exam. |
- NATA 2024 is a qualifying aptitude test for admission into the B. Arch degree program, subject to the Council’s eligibility criteria. The candidates who have passed 10+2 level examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate, shall be eligible to appear for NATA-2024.
- The candidates appearing for 10+2 examination with PCM or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023, subject to fulfilling the above criteria.
- The candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL category or PwD (Persons with a disability) shall be provided with a relaxation of 5% marks in total aggregate in 10+2 level/10+3 Diploma well as PCM.
Reservations under different categories
Reservation and relaxation in qualifying marks for the reserved category for admission are a prerogative of the admission/ counselling authority. It does not fall under the purview of this examination.
Important Instruction
Here are some important instruction related to NATA 2024
- From this academic year, NATA will be conducted twice a year – the first attempt will be held soon.
- Candidates can appear in one or both the attempts. If the candidate appears in both attempts, the best of the two scores will be considered.
- The exam pattern of NATA 2024 might also be tweaked, with additional time allotted for drawing test.
- There are also plans to conduct centralized counselling for NATA 2024 qualified candidates. This will ensure candidates don’t have to hop across from one college to another.
- NATA is conducted for admission to 5-year B.Arch courses offered by participating institutes.
- Candidates who qualify NATA 2024 will be considered for admission to 1st year of B.Arch course.
- Admission will be based on NATA scores. The score of NATA 2024 will be valid for the current academic session only.
