According to the notice dated September 18, 2026, all earlier Round 1 allotments issued to PwBD/PwD candidates in the provisional list dated August 29, 2026, have been declared null and void. The revision applies only to PwBD/PwD candidates and does not affect the Round 1 allotment results of non-PwBD/PwD candidates.
Why the Allotment Was Revised
The revised allotment has been prepared in accordance with the Supreme Court judgment in Civil Appeal No. 10262 of 2025, The West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. & Ors. vs. Dipendu Biswas & Ors., 2026 INSC 330, dated April 7, 2026.
The judgment clarified the application of horizontal reservation for PwBD/PwD candidates and its adjustment within vertical or social reservation categories.

Important Instructions for Candidates
Re-Reporting Is Mandatory
Candidates who already joined or reported under the earlier Round 1 allotment must report again at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, within the revised schedule.
Previous reporting does not exempt a candidate from the fresh reporting requirement.
No Second Fee Payment
Candidates who have already paid the applicable fee do not need to pay it again.
They should carry proof of the earlier payment during the revised reporting process.
Fresh Choice Filling
All eligible PwBD/PwD candidates can participate in fresh Round 2 choice filling.
Choices submitted earlier have been cancelled and will not be considered for the revised Round 2 allotment. Candidates must submit new choices within the notified time.
