Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Choice Filling Instructions
- All candidates must check their eligibility before filling out the choice.
- OBC/SC/ST/EWS/FF certificates issued by the Govt in the defined format will only be accepted.
- Certificates issued by UP Govt for central Services will not be accepted.
- It will be mandatory for candidates who have passed their High School or Intermediate or both from another state to present the original Domicile Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the UP Govt.
- PWD-related certificates issued by the Centers nominated by NMC/MCC will be valid.
- For the NCC Category, a “C-Certificate” with an “A Grade or B Grade” issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format will be valid.

Uttar Pradesh NEET 2024 Counselling
1- (A) Registration →Pay Registration Fee→Download Registration Slip→ Go to Verification Center
(B) Registration • Pay Registration Fee • If the slip is not generated, then wait for payment update. When payment is updated, then the slip will generate →Go to the Verification Center.
- Go to the verification centre and verify your academic documents and other relevant documents like reservation certificates etc.
- Submit your CTS Bank DD at nodal verification centre, write your name, address, roll no. & mobile no. on the back of DD etc.
- After document verification, fill in the choices and lock the alternatives; if you do not seal the options, you will not be considered for the seat allocation process.
- After allotment in Government Medical/Dental College, go to allotted College for admission.
- After allotment in Pvt, Medical/Dental College go to the nodal centre for admission.
- The name of the nodal admission centre will be displayed on the allotment letter.
Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2024 Procedure
Candidates can visit the official portal of the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP, to get themselves registered for NEET 2024 Uttar Pradesh State Counselling. Below we have mentioned the step-by-step process of counselling.
Step 1- Online Registration
- Candidates can apply online by visiting the website https://upneet.gov.in.
- For registration, the candidates will use their NEET-UG roll no. and email I.D. (used in AI-NEET-UG registration) and follow the instructions on the screen.
- After that, the candidate’s AI-NEET-UG registration details will be displayed.
- The candidate will make an online (Netbanking/ Credit/ Debit Card) payment of 2,000/ rupees. SMS will be sent to their registered mobile no (used for AI-NEET UG registration) to confirm successful registration.
- The password you create at the time of registration, kindly note this password for choice filling.
- After a successful payment candidate will get a Transaction number and registration number on their registered mobile number.
Step 2: Online Security Money Payment
- Those aspirants are eligible for choice filling who will build a successful online payment of Rs. 30,000/- for Government seats & Rs. 2,00,000/- for Private seats as security money.
- After paying for security money and the state merit list has been announced, the online seat choice filling will be available per the earlier schedule.
- Candidates would be able to take a printout of their online payment receipt.
Step 3: Merit Declaration
- State merit, the list reference shall be AI-NEET-UG 2024 ranking.
- The final merit list will be published on the website.
Step-4: Online choice filling
- Visit the official website and click on the choice filling.
- After login, the choice filling can be done in several sessions but remember to save and continue; otherwise, you lose your work.
- The choice filling will not be complete until you finally submit and Lock.
- After choice filling, seat allotment results will be displayed online.
Step-5: Seat Allotment
- Login to the website. Your seat allotment will be displayed.

Security Money
The candidates will have to pay the security money through a demand draft in favour of the Director General, Medical Education & Training, UP. The Demand Draft will be payable at the nodal office in Lucknow. The security money will be returned to the candidates after the admission procedure to Medical College is completed. Selection Procedure
- The Exam conducting authority will make the merit list of the selected candidates for the admission after the NEET State counseling.
- Admission Seekers will be selected based on their rank obtained and choice filled during counseling.

- If any student fails to report to the allotted college in any circumstances within the given time, the seat of this candidate will be forfeited.

Seat Allotment Process
The Uttar Pradesh NEET Counselling will be conducted in two rounds. The seat allotment and mop-up round process will be done separately for each round. The seat allotment will be completely based on the merit rank and choices entered by candidates.
The Uttar Pradesh MBBS and BDS 2024 seat allotment result for Round I counselling will be held on. The Result of seat allotment would be published online on the official website of the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP.
Applying seekers who have been allotted seats in Round I can also opt for up-gradation in the Second Round. And if the candidate gets an upgraded seat in seconds Round, the seat allotted in the first Round will be cancelled.
