    Admission process for CPS

    As per the new rule admission will be solely on the basis of marks scored in the NEET exam. Notice for admission shall be displayed on the website of CPS.

    CPS Admission procedure is a state Centralised Online Admission Process. The sole authority to conduct online CPS Admission is DMER Mumbai.

    Candidates need to visit the official website at https://med-edu.in for registration on the basis of NEET PG Score 2022. Candidates can apply to Diploma/Fellowship Courses in various Government/Private medical colleges in the state of Maharashtra.

    In order to secure a Clinical or Para-clinical (Diploma/Fellowship) seat in Deemed Medical College, Candidates will have to register at https://dmer.org. There are two rounds of counselling that take place followed by a Mop-Up round of CPS Admission 2022-23 is subjected to the availability of Diploma/ Fellowship Seats after the 2nd round. 

    Admissions to the Diploma and Fellowship courses in colleges of Maharashtra are solely based on the NEET PG 2022 score. Only NEET 2022 qualified candidates can participate in the CPS Mumbai Admission 2022-23. Details are being shared in the article below.

    Registration:

    • Candidates have to register on the website i.e. https://med-edu.in and submit the counselling fee which is Rs. 3000 through Internet banking or any online mode.
    • DMER, Mumbai will publish the CPS Mumbai 2022-23 Seat Allotment list for the qualified candidate as per the secured marks and required percentile. Selected candidates will be allowed to participate in further events of Counselling.

    Choice Filling:

    • Candidates need to fill in Online choices at the https://med-edu.in by using their registration number and Transaction Id generated at the time of registration.
    • Candidates have to fill their choices of colleges as per their priority. They can fill choices as many as they wish.

    Allotment Result:

    • Candidates can check the seat allotment status from the DMER, Mumbai at https://dmer.org.   
    • Candidates are advised to download their allotment letter which needs to be produced at the time of reporting to the allotted college.
    • Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank, scored marks, and the choices of their preferences.

    Reporting to Allotted College:

    • This is the final event when the candidates need to report to the allotted college with an allotment letter before the last date of admission.
    • Seats will be considered as confirmed, once the fee payment and verification of documents will take place.

    Eligibility Criteria for CPS

    • A candidate, who has passed the final M.B.B.S., or equivalent, an examination from a medical college recognized by the Medical Council of India.
    • A candidate who has completed a one-year compulsory internship on or before 31/03/2021. University Internship Completion Certificate is mandatory.
    • A candidate, who has appeared for NEET-PG 2021. However, candidates should note that only NEET eligible candidates shall be considered for the admission process in the initial phases of Central Counselling. If seats remain vacant, then the decision regarding the admission to non-eligible candidates/lowering the NEET score for eligibility shall be taken as per the directions of the Central Government/Respective State Government.
    • A candidate shall possess a permanent registration certificate from State Medical Council of the respective state at the time of joining.
    • The “Foreign Medical Graduates” shall have successfully cleared the qualifying exam or eligibility test conducted by NBE, New Delhi.
    • In addition to the above, a candidate desirous for PG seat in Maharashtra in an institute run by Government, Corporation or any local body, should have passed MBBS from any institution / University in Maharashtra. Candidates, who have passed MBBS from outside of Maharashtra, shall not be eligible for admission to Government institutions, Corporation institutions or institutions run by local bodies in Maharashtra (aided institutions).
